Jeep Death Wobble Fix

What is “Death Wobble”? Death wobble is the horrible front end vibration that starts when a tire hits a groove or bump in the pavement somewhere around 40-50mph range. Why is death wobble extremely difficult to try to diagnose and fix. The reason is caused by numerous parts of the steering system as a whole, not by one component in most cases. To diagnose and fix your death wobble correctly one must look for worn or improper installed parts in the steering and front suspension system. The team at Extreme Vehicle Builders in Danbury Ct has successfully repaired hundreds of Jeep Wrangler, YJ, TJ, ZJ and the all new JK’s with death wobble issues. EVB uses the Hunter GPS9700 balancer, making sure that your oversized tires are rolling nice and smooth. Plus EVB has the latest in OE and aftermarket parts in stock ready to fix your death wobble correctly. It is hard to fix death wobble correctly over the phone but here is a small list that you yourself can look at:

  • Tie Rod Ends (all four, plus the upper track bar end)
  • Upper and Lower Ball Joints
  • Track Bar Mounting Bracket Bolts
  • Steering Box Bolts
  • Track Bar Ends
  • Alignment
